the ugly side

the world is unfair,

they said.

but they, were the ones

who it made it that way.

judged by their appearance and

behaviour,

everyone's striving,

striving to serve up the best first impression.

criticism is thrown all over;

"oh, you're not good-looking"

"oh, you don't look like the smart-type"

"oh, you are such a weirdo"

and brought over to how they're being treated.

stereotypes interfere with everyone's daily life,

prejudice ruling classrooms,

workplaces, even at home.

humans are naturally judgmental

but this is the world,

that 7 billion people,

live their lives in.

one full of criticism and prejudice.
