acceptance

she's excited about it,

yet she gets mixed reactions.

some positive, some negative,

and one of the negative reactions came from her.

she's being put down,

she's being criticised.

she tries to stand her ground,

but she gets scolded for being 'unwise'

she just wants support from her,

because she's close to the deepest part of her heart.

yet that she reprimands her for wanting acceptance

when she's the one who isn't accepting.

accepting of her courage to start a journey.

one full of happiness, difficulties;

one that will last a lifetime.
